The ABSOLUTE 360 Infrared Thumb and Wrist Support, from the IR Body Support product range, is made from an innovative far infrared (FIR) emitting fibre. The far infrared (FIR) fibre absorbs the infrared radiation emitted by the human body and re-emits this absorbed radiation as far infrared (FIR) waves, which interact with the human body, stimulating its natural healing processes.

The thumb and wrist support has been designed to provide optimum support to the wrist joint for the prevention of wrist injuries during sporting and occupational activities where the wrist joint might be subject to strain or overuse.

Unlike typical supports, the ABSOLUTE 360 thumb and wrist support offers light compression allowing for use over extended periods of time without discomfort. It combines function, optimal comfort and a great fit to help reduce wrist pain, support injured, weak or arthritic wrists, and soothe stiff joints, ligaments, tendons and muscles.

The thumb and wrist support is lightweight, thin, low profile, neoprene-free and latex-free. The slimline and thin design means it can easily be worn under everyday clothes and hand gloves.

The ABSOLUTE 360 thumb and wrist support is recommended for; post-trauma rehabilitation (sprains, strains and contusions with oedemas and swelling), post-surgery rehabilitation, treatment of wrist pain due to muscular lesions, inflammation of the wrist joint, bursitis, tendinitis, tenosynovitis, rheumatoid arthritis, arthrosis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and repetitive stress injury (RSI). The emission of far infrared penetrates deep into the area promoting improved peripheral microcirculation aiding the healing process. It also helps relieve minor pain and discomfort.

During recovery and rehabilitation, we recommend wearing the support as much as possible, at least every day for a minimum of 6/8 hours a day.

WHAT SIZE DO I NEED?

Ensure you choose the correct size, this is very important. If you are on the borderline between two sizes, order the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size for a looser fit. The measurement required is the wrist circumference.
